The COW, that is! I went for my 28 week appointment today & everything is great, except for the fact that I gained 8 lbs since my last appointment. That means I'm up 23 lbs total! I'm just now starting my 3rd trimester, so how much more am I going to gain??? Holy crap, the thought just scares me! My doctor wasn't the least bit worried, in fact, he laughed at me for complaining about it. Not funny doc! He did give me a hug & told me "you look great, feel great, so don't worry about it." I am going for my glucose tolerance test tomorrow while I'm at work, since it's just across the hall.
Well, after my crappy weight gain news, Jimmy & I decided to play with the camera a little. So, this week's belly shots are more "formal" or not in shorts/t-shirt...but we did have fun. Not only do I feel like a cow after today, but I look like a sway-back horse in the one picture. Nice!

You are hilarious!! You are so NOT Bessie the cow! You are 28 weeks pregnant, only 12 more weeks to go, if that. 23 lbs is right where you need to be. You should be gaining weight, your baby girl is growing. I know its scary to see numbers on the scale you have never seen before. But you will loose it all in no time.

Oh my goodness!! You are SO silly and I think you just need to look the other way when they weigh you from now on. You look FANTASTIC and you are supposed to be gaining weight--remember you have a growing baby in your belly that needs to get bigger. All the pictures are great tell Jimmy good job! I hope the glucose test goes well, I loved drinking that sugary drink. It could have been I was starving.
Don't worry about the weight please!!!! I did and it just got all in my head :-) I gained so much with Dayne that I finally stopped crying and just started laughing, b/c every morning I would stand up and start shaking my legs so all the fluid would be even throughout my legs :-) sorry kinda gross but I swelled a lot with Dayne over 20 pounds of fluid I think it was disgusting- Tallan didn't swell but still managed to put on 25 or 30 pounds- crazy You are so cute please don't worry about the weight (I know easier said than done) :-)
