Half way!

I am now 20 weeks, so I have made it half way! Woo hoo! I still feel great & I'm feeling HER kick/move more & more which is just the coolest thing ever! We are finally getting used to saying "her" now & not "it" anymore. As you know, her middle name is for sure Grace & right now it's looking like Finley is the top name. We both love it because it's different, but not wierd & it goes good with Grace. We are still throwing names around, but for now, Finley is it. We are looking at all kinds of bedding & baby stuff, so that's fun too! Our friend, Mandy, has given us so much stuff it's crazy...her daughter will be 2 in Sept. so she has tons of stuff & is giving it ALL to us! Thank you Mandy! Don't worry, we still need & want a LOT more, so there will be plenty to buy! :) Here's this week's belly pics.....



I have gone from that in between, is she or isn't she pregnant, to yep, she's pregnant! I'm poking out there!

Time is flying by

Here is an updated picture of Jimmy & I, considering we haven't taken any of just us recently. We are out by Lake Conway here in town. You can kind of see the belly here too! :)

I went for my 20 week appointment today with my new doctor here in AR & it couldn't have gone any better! I can't believe I'm already at the halfway mark?? It really does fly by, just like everyone says. I think we are both going to really like him, he's pretty cool, laid back & seems to have a good personality. He is so cool, in fact, that he didn't even charge me for the appointment today since our insurance doesn't kick in here until Aug. 1st! How awesome is that?? I had only met him once at work before today & it was brief. I had asked around at work about who is the best OB around here & the majority said Dr. Cole, so that's how I found him....it's always nice to be a nurse when it comes to stuff like that, because you get the inside scoop on all the docs! He did the "official" ultrasound & everything looked great! We didn't tell him we already knew it's a girl, so we just acted surprised & played along...Jimmy wasn't quite as disappointed this time. Poor guy, he really wanted a boy, but he is very excited about "his" little girl now! He did move my due date to Dec. 9th, instead of the 8th? No big change. The absolute WORST part of today was getting on that dang scale! I was dreading it because I had to switch scales from my original weights with my doc, so of course, it was waaaaay more than I liked. It said I have gained 12 lbs!??? Holy moly! How in the world did I gain 12 lbs in a month?? The nurse did say it weighed 4 lbs heavy, so that's a little better, but still!!!! I'm going to weigh in TN the next time I'm home & just see how much I've REALLY gained!!

It's a..........

GIRL!!! OMG!! WE ARE HAVING A GIRL!! 99% of my family & friends have said boy, but they were all wrong. I have said I thought it would be a girl for a while, even though Jimmy & I really wanted a boy...I didn't really have any reason to think it was a girl, but I just did for some reason? Jimmy was pretty disappointed when there were no boy parts there, but he's just fine with a healthy baby girl too! What man doesn't really want a boy? He has already said, "You know she's gonna be MY little girl, don't you?" He knows he's in for it with a girl & he will be such an awesome Daddy! I can't wait to see the 2 of them together! We know here middle name is Grace, but that's all we know for now...we are talking about names more now that we know it's a girl.


We also got a new baby this week, like we need another dog in the house! Jimmy & I both have a soft spot for these bulldog babies, especially when we have such a HUGE connection getting them! Our friend Mandy, gave us another one & she is gorgeous! Her name is Miley & she is 6 weeks old...Mandy usually doesn't let her puppies go until 8 weeks, but we are just special! She is a wild woman, but absolutely adorable. She is having fun with the big dogs & loves to play! Moose is so sweet & plays so easy with her. Since he's the biggest, we worried about him pouncing on her, but he really watches her & just lets her run all over him. Maggie has her moments when she just likes to be left alone...Miley is learning about that! :) Oscar is just enjoying being bigger than someone, so they play great together too! We figured we will have her trained by the time our real baby is born. Our child will have to like dogs, & animals in general around here, so why not add to the family? We are really having a lot of fun with her & all the dogs right now.

Everything is going great here in AR & I am adjusting better than I expected. I really miss all my family & friends at home, but cell phones & computers are GREAT! Leave me some blog love in the comments b/c I really like reading them!
