Sneak peek!

I had a maternity photo session last Saturday & I have a little sneak peek for you.......

She will be doing a newborn session once Finley gets here! I'm really looking forward to that one because she is pretty creative & does great work!

I went for a check-up today & "everything is just perfect!" Yay! I'm going every 2 weeks now, so it's getting closer....only 7 more weeks to go...hopefully less than that! I'm ready to see this little girl that's kicking me to death & dancing on my bladder ALL the time!

Finally........

I have finally had time to sit down & update my poor blog!!! I got to go home last week Thursday-Tuesday & it was GREAT!!! I had more time to hang out, visit with family & friends & of course, go to the most perfect baby shower!!! My sister worked hard & stressed a LOT more than she should have to throw this shower for me & Finley, but it was all worth it to me! She is a wonderful hostess, so I knew it would be great. I appreciate all the trouble she went to in order to make this special. Love ya Suzy!!! Thank you to everyone who helped Suzy make this a perfect baby shower!!!

Her room is coming together!!!! Yay! You can see where it used to be pink with this ugly border, but now it's alllll green & looks GREAT thanks to Jimmy & our friend Kent!!! I'll update more pics as we get it done!

We are getting more & more excited!!! I am 32 weeks this week, so it's definitely down to crunch time around here. We are organizing, rearranging, washing clothes, etc, etc, etc. There's still a lot to do, but it's all coming together.

I went to the doctor last Wednesday & everything is just peachy! She weighed 3.3 lbs & measured right on track. He did an ultrasound to make sure she's not measuring bigger with this whole gestational diabetes thing.........BUT I have good news on that note..........he basically told me I don't have to check my blood sugar 4 times/day & I just have to be smart about eating. I am now only checking it first thing in the morning before eating & maybe once more during the day! Yay! He also said, "I believe you're a gestational diabetic about like I believe I can jump over a house!" Needless to say, he's not concerned at all about my health or the baby's. That was a huge relief & a big weight taken off me! I just can't go crazy with carbs or sweets, which is not a problem. I am now going to see him every 2 weeks, so I'll keep you updated, as always!
