OK, I'm a horrible blogger!!

I know, I know it has been over a month since I have posted anything, but there's just not much to tell around here. Work, work, work & that's about it for us lately. We did have some family pictures made a couple weeks ago & they are AWESOME!! Jimmy & I normally take our own pics, but we decided to have some professional ones done, since we haven't had any since our wedding. Happy Halloween

First, I want to wish everyone a Happy Halloween! Second, I want to introduce Maggie, our new addition. She is another English bulldog from our great friends in AR. She is very laid back & so so sweet. After living with our rough & tumble Moose for 2 years, it's nice to have such a sweet, cuddler in the house. We are planning on breeding her to Tank, one of our friends' BIG stud dogs in early '09, so let me know if anyone wants a very expensive dog? ha ha

I dressed the 2 bulldogs up this year & gave Oscar a break....he's not a fan of costumes. Moose is a bee & Maggie had on her tutu. I had a hard time getting a shot of both of them together, so this is the best I could get.

Let the baby-makin' begin

Well, I officially start Clomid (the fertility drug to make me ovulate) tomorrow! I am soooo ready to get preggo, so I am really hoping I only have to do this for a month. My doc told me there is a good chance it will make me very moody, so here's your warning! I'll apologize now for it. Jimmy is not so happy about that part, but do ya think he's going to complain? No way! I feel really weird advertising our baby-makin' all over the internet, but after a year & a half of trying, I'm just ready to get on with it! Literally! Ha ha! Please keep us in your prayers over the next few weeks & pray that the Clomid works! Hopefully, I'll have a lot more to post soon!

Our "kids"

Just thought I would show off our 4-legged kids. Hopefully one of these days we'll have some real kids to show off, but for now these 2 are it! We love our boys!!

The middle picture is hilarious...they were playing one day that's what I got! The bottom right is Moose with his dog. He also has a duck that he sleeps with too. He goes & gets one of them when he gets tired....just like a kid with a blankie or some type of security for them? I love these 2 dogs to death! Enjoy!!

FINALLY!!

We finally got a computer today!!! yippee!!! I am sooo glad to be back & blogging again! It's like this crazy obsession that I just started, then it was taken away for a little while...not cool! Anyway, I can finally tell everyone about our big trip to Arkansas! We actually got to spend an entire week with Jimmy's parents, who I love dearly! We got some much needed R&R, visited friends & ate way too much good home-cookin! His mom can do some cookin' too! Here are some pics from our stay with his parents....

If you notice in the picture of all of us, you can see the mosquito right in the middle of it...mosquitos are BAD there! We had beautiful weather, but at dusk the mosquitos got so bad, we had to go in the house. I came home covered with bites! We still had a great time, even with the mosquitos!

We also spent 2 days with our friends Drew & Mandy! They have a beautiful 1 year old little girl, Kylie, that we had a lot of fun with too! For all of you that know about our Moose, they are the ones that gave him to us. They raise, breed & show champion English Bulldogs...you can see them at steelebulldogs.com. Their dogs are gorgeous & hopefully one day soon we will be getting another one! I can't wait!

Not back yet...

Our laptop bit the dust about 2 weeks ago & we have yet to get another one! I am dying to get one so I can check on everyone's blogs & update mine! Hopefully, we will have a computer in the next few days??? I'm at work & had a minute, so I just wanted to let everyone know that I haven't fallen off the earth....just computerless for now! Can't wait to get back on here!

Girls' Night

A bunch of girls that I work with, or have worked with, all got together last night for a going away dinner for my dear friend Amy. She is moving to Cincinnatti because her husband took a job there....we could all kill him for taking her away from us! We had a great time talking, gossiping, laughing (a LOT), and a few tears were shed. We will all miss little Amy because she is the most positive, bubbly, energetic person I have ever met! She & I have become great friends over the last 2 years & I really hate that she has to move.!

Wierd......

Jimmy & I went to look at a house today & met the nicest lady! We really loved the house, but it just wasn't for us. We also enjoyed talking to this lady, who seems to be a lovely Christian woman that sings gospel music for a living. Apparently, she also has another gift from above....she has these "visions," I guess you could call it? She had asked if we had kids yet, & of course we both said no. After talking some more, she stopped, got a VERY serious look on her face & said, "you will have a baby & it won't be too far in the future." Well, neither one of us knew what to say, so we both just said I know. Well, she proceeded to tell us that she has this gift & she KNOWS that we will have a baby & we will have more than one! Now, keep in mind, this is coming from someone that we met an hour before & seems to be a very giving, Christian woman with a LOT of faith. I don't know how to take what she said to us, but it really has made me think? Do I go ahead & pursue the infertility road that we are about to go down, or do I take this stranger's advice & "don't do anything yet." It's not like I went to some kooky psychic that just wants my money....we were looking at her house! Is this God's way of telling me to wait? I don't know, but it sure has made me think.

Well, I thought I would join in the blog world & quit stalking everyone else's! I love reading about what's going on in everyone's life & seeing new pictures from time to time, so I'm joining in! I hope you all enjoy reading mine, as much as I enjoy it!
As many of you already know, we are desperately wanting to have a baby! As frustrating as it may be, we are trying to realize that this is not in our hands & just let it happen on His time. Well, let me tell ya, that's hard to do! Jimmy & I have both learned to be more patient through all of this. After one miscarriage & many disappointing months of trying, we are moving on to the next step....fertility stuff! I will be starting on a pill called Clomid if I'm not pregnant by next month. It basically makes my body release an egg & hopefully only 1 egg! I don't want a tv show out of it for having 5 or 6 babies, but just a healthy baby will do! I think I could deal with 3, but no more. Yeah, I'm to that point...I don't care anymore, as long as we have a baby. So please keep us in your prayers over the next month & come back for more news from the News!
