We are creating a monster....

Ok, so you have already seen all the clothes we have for Finley, but I wanted to show you some of them individually because they are soooo cute! I just picked some of my favorites, because there is a TON! She already has more clothes than we do & she is going to be styin' for sure! We both like clothes, so she isn't going to have much of a choice in that area. It's going to be fun playing dress up once she gets here!
Top row: Her 1st little mini skirt & some other little cute outfits

Bottom row: 1st onsie I bought, adorable dress from GAP, & of course, her 1st warm-up suit

I went to this consignment sale Friday & got some more really cute stuff. I'm telling you, we're going to have to change her clothes 2-3 times a day so she can wear it all! I love it though!!!

I will be 26 weeks Tuesday! I can't believe it??? She is kicking, rolling, punching & doing flips like crazy! I was reading a book the other day & had it sitting on my belly, she kicked & the book moved! It just amazes me how active she is, or maybe I should be scared? Either way, I love it & understand why so many women say they love being pregnant because I do...if only I could erase those first 12 weeks of horrible nausea.

I'll leave you with a new belly pic, but I'll take some more this week. Love ya!!!

Broken record

I feel like my posts are like a broken record...the same thing each week. BUT I'm still doing them! I am 25 weeks now & still feeling great! She is kicking up a storm & I'm growing too. I have to confess...I HAD to have this Mtn. Dew that was in the fridge the other day. Well you can imagine what happened. I finally gave in & drank it throughout the day & by that night, there was a party going on in my belly! She was a wild woman! I drink water all day & sweet tea, but no other caffeine, so we were both a little hyper, but she was hyper on crack. It was pretty funny. Now, I had to cut my head off of these pics because I was looking pretty rough. So, to spare you the horror, no face! :) We were laughing at my belly sticking out of my shirt!!!!

Ok, now to our other "kids." Maggie is not the easiest one to get outside at night because she's just lazy! About a week ago, after making her go out at night, we couldn't get her to come back in...which is VERY rare for her. She was sitting on the porch or in the grass, just staring at the woods & the ground?? No barking, no nothing, just very focused on something? This happened several nights in a row, until we finally figured out what she was doing.......she's watching FROGS! We went out with a flashlight & finally saw what she was seeing. She doesn't chase them or anything, just watches & will NOT take her eyes off them. It's been going on now for a little over a week & she is now our "frog hunter." The other pic is how I found all of them before work one morning....pretty sweet. Then, of course, a new Miley pic too!
Sorry about the butt shot, but this is seriously what she looks like at night now!
I'm going to try to get some better belly shots next time, with a head!

I'm on a roll!

2 posts in 2 days....wow! I'm just a little proud of myself, or maybe I have too much time on my hands? Not for long though, I have to work the next 3 days. Anywho....I went to the doctor today for my 24 week visit & everything is great! I had an ultrasound with the tech first & little Finley weighs 1 lb 1 oz. & I had gained 3 more lbs. It's hard to tell from the U/S pics, but she has the cutest little lips...Jimmy's of course, because my lips aren't so plump. She confirmed again, that it's a girl for sure. I told her she can't tell us any different because we have way too much girl stuff, which by the way, our life has been taken over by the color pink already!! I do like pink, but wow, I have never seen so many pink clothes in my life!

Not the best picture, but you get the point. We are both growing & doing great!!!

As I promised....

I'm warning you now, this is long. I know this is what everyone wants to see first, so here's the 23 week belly pic...I think my butt is growing too, which isn't cool at all! Little Finley is kicking like crazy & you can see my belly move! This has to be the most amazing feeling in the world! I am loving being pregnant now. I go back to the doc Monday, so I'll have some measurements then.

Ok, so most of you know, my friends have been more than generous in giving us baby stuff. We have gotten a TON of clothes, & I mean a TON! Mandy & Heather have daughters born in Sept. & Feb., so their clothes are perfect sizes & they had a bunch. I have spent some of Fri. night & most of my Sat. washing & organizing baby clothes. This kid should never need clothes for the rest of her life. This is just a portion of what I've gone through & her closet is already full! Jimmy is going to add another rack soon......

Friday night I also "baby sat" a couple of tee tiny cuties.....
Mandy went out of town, so I brought Mama & babies to our house for the night. Bulldogs can't stay with their puppies at first b/c they will roll over on them & squish 'em....SO every 4 hours you have to give the pups to Mama to nurse. These babies are 2 weeks old tomorrow so they look like little moles, but they are sooo cute!

When we visited Jimmy's parents' cabin in "the hills" here, we took Miley along. She had so much fun messing with the goats & as you can see, they were just as interested in her. They just couldn't figure her out? Other than that, she slept the rest of the time under this chair on the deck.

Ok, sorry for the long post, but between work, going home & being preggo I just haven't done it. I promise to try to do better! Love ya & don't forget to leave me some love too!!

A whirlwind week

I don't have my pictures uploaded yet from the past 2 weeks, but I'm getting there. The past 2 weeks have been a whirlwind! Last weekend we went to Jimmy's parents' cabin up in "the hills" here...it's about an hour & a half from us & was a very pretty drive. It reminded me of driving to Chattanooga. I kept waiting to hear banjos playing because it was in the sticks & definitely not a place you want to get lost! I do have pics to post later.

Then, I worked Mon-Wed. & on call Wed. night, then I got up & headed to Franklin. I have never been so excited to go home & see my family! I got there Thursday about 7pm & was exhausted from the 7 hr drive (I got stuck in traffic for an hour). I was thrilled to say the least. Friday & Saturday we FULL all day, but so worth it! I got to see some work friends briefly, got my hair cut & shopped all day Saturday! It just happened to be the tax free weekend, so of course, I had to take advantage of that...I got lots of adorable clothes for miss Finley! Pics to come. Then, I headed back to AR & had a much better trip home.

I am now 23 weeks & loving every minute of it! Finley Grace is the official name! We love it, obviously. I feel great & we are both growing. I go back to the doc next Monday, so I'm looking forward to an update. I promise to post some pics soon!
